Rust 2024 Release Date. The rust team is happy to announce a new version of rust, 1.78.0. The compiler fixed unsound function coercions.
For rust 2024, we want to pursue changes that enable more exploration in the ecosystem, and enable stable migration of code from the ecosystem into the standard library. Where all binary packages in a release must have been built on the distro build.
